Simply stated. Yes.
I wanted to write a little blog post to share with you exactly how I earned an all expense paid trip for my husband and I to the Dominican Republic. I know as a skeptic, I never would've believed I could do something like this. I am grateful beyond words, and I want to share with you exactly how you can do the same by answering a few commonly asked questions.
How did you earn a free trip?
I just returned from an expense paid trip to the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana. I was joined by over 4,000 coaches as we spent 4 days relaxing along the sunny seas of the Domincan Repubic.
So how did I get there? Simple. I made a commitment to helping at least 5 people a month throughout 2016 achieve their health and fitness goals. As I focused on helping people achieve their goals, I naturally was earning "points" to attend the trip!
I know what you're thinking. It sounds to good to be true. Believe me- I was skeptical when I would read these types of blog posts as well. But the truth is I earned a trip because my career as a coach is about putting people first.

What were the requirements of the trip?
Throughout 2016, I accumulated success club points. Points are achieved when challengers commit to participating in a challenge group with the use of a challenge pack. As I earned Success Club points throughout the year, I was able to earn the trip for free. I also earned $750 in resort credit to pay for a morning at the spa for Mike and myself as well as Mike's golf outing. All food and beverages were included. (At full disclosure, I paid a $300 deposit which covered Mike and I. )

What did you do on the trip?
We woke up around 3 am for a 5:30 flight. We enjoyed mimosas in the air while finishing up some work before landing in Punta Cana. We had a shuttle service take us over to the hotel about 20 minutes away, and arrived at the resort in the early afternoon. Cocktails and a cheerful welcome were waiting for us, as we flew through check in and breezed over to our room.

Flying into Punta Cana! Vacation here we come! |
We wasted no time getting our swim gear on and meeting some of our teammates at the pool. More cocktails, hugs and laughter awaited us.
The next morning, I woke up to do back to back workouts with our new trainer, Chris Downing and Autumn Calabrese. Mike headed our with the guys to golf. Immediately after the workout were waitresses serving Shakeology from the bar.
The weather was overcast but it didn't bring us down. We parked underneath and umbrella and spent the day chatting with our team and getting to know each other.

Breakfast is Served! |
Later that night I met up with my mentor for dinner at the Steakhouse, Toro and was introduced to bread pudding for the first time. I had no clue what I was missing out on! We left completely replete and headed over to the welcome party where we danced the night away with the team.
The next day we completed another crazy workout and then headed over to the beach. The guys played spikeball and the girls lounged out for the day. When we walked over to the pool, the waitresses greeted us by asking for our drink orders and inviting us over to a water foam party. We laughed so hard. We enjoyed a late night dinner with the team and closed it out with a round of karoake.
The weather was perfect on our final full day at the beach. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. We spent the morning at the spa, which was perfect considering I couldn't walk after those workouts. After the spa, we headed out for breakfast and then off to the pool for the day! After being at the pool all day, we took a long nap and then headed out to the farewell party on tbe beach. There we enjoyed good music, entertainment, food, and fireworks. It was incredible.

Sunny Skies Poolside! |
We packed up the next morning after breakfast, grabbing some chocolate coffee and rum. On the way home, we slept. I would say we enjoyed full blown vacation mode.
What were the workouts like?
Each morning you had a choice of two different workout to start the day with! The workouts took place in large ballroom. Each trainer turned up the heat with their workouts! There was a ton of space to spread out. I have to tell you the workouts were TOUGH! Lots of leg work, plank work, and push-ups! Burning off those fruity drinks for sure! We were the very first to preview
Chris Downing's new workout, The Shift Shop! It was incredible. He's an amazing trainer!

Who can earn this trip?
ANY Coach can earn these trips It doesn't matter how long you've been coaching or your rank in the company. This is a trip intended for any coach who is part of the bigger mission: ending the trend of obesity.
So can you really do this too?
If you have a desire to make a change, to your fitness, or finances, you can earn this trip. . I'd love to share more of what this has done for me, my family, and my mindset.
I am a classroom teacher who used her classroom skills in her coaching business. Two years into coaching, I retired from the classroom so that I could focus more on this incredible opportunity! I had no intention of leaving the classroom, but as my business grew I realized that my passion for helping others achieve physical and financial success was too powerful to not pursue it full time.
I often think to myself how different my life would be in I didn't purchase Insanity, if I didn't see a post about coaching, if I didn't think to myself, there has to be more to life than just getting by!
This has changed my life in every regard. How can I not be grateful. Want to know more about coaching?
