A lot of times when we attend summer parties or barbeques, we often bring a side dish. And I used to bring the typical coleslaw or potato salad. But these side dishes can make it difficult to make healthy choices at any party. So instead of bringing another unhealthy option, I simply disguise the healthy with some serious flavor! This recipe is guaranteed to make any broccoli hater into a broccoli addict-no joke!
Marinated Broccoli
3 lbs broccoli flourettes- rinsed and cut
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 TBL sugar (replace this with agave, stevia, or even honey)
1 TBL fresh dill weed (chopped)
1 TBL Accent
A dash of salt, pepper, and garlic powder
1/2 cup EVOO
Mix marinade and pour over broccoli and marinade for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Drain and serve!
Oh, and it is kid tested and APPROVED!
