Clean Low Calorie Breakfast Sandwich

It's a better option than going to McDonalds for a 450 calorie sausage mcmuffin.  Did you know that one of those bad boys is loaded with 940 mg of sodium.  Holy Cow!








It's very simple to prepare. Brown the sausage in a skillet using cooking spray so it does not stick. My husband likes to cook the egg in the microwave, which is very quick.  Just make sure you spray some cooking spray in the bowl so the egg does not stick.  Cook the egg on high for about 1.5 minutes.  Lastly, toast the bread and put the sandwich together!  To spice it up, add a little bit of salsa or hot sauce.  My husband will sometimes sneak a dash of ketchup on there.  He loves his ketchup.
